The child-rights.ch website has been launched in a comprehensively revamped version. The platform has been purposefully developed further, featuring a clearer structure, a modern design and updated content.
The focus of the revamp was on making children’s rights easier to understand, more accessible and more relevant to everyday practice. Content is now easier to find and can be used in a targeted manner.
child-rights.ch provides free resources and ideas to help professionals address children’s rights in an age-appropriate manner. The content addresses current and annually changing key themes, enabling a continuous, in-depth exploration of central issues relating to children’s rights.
Collaboration between practice and academia
The development of the platform builds on many years of professional collaboration: since 2025, we have been combining our practical experience in non-formal education with academic collaboration with the Universities of Teacher Education in Lucerne and St. Gallen.
The materials produced between 2021 and 2024 were developed in close cooperation with Integras and Terre des Hommes Suisse/Switzerland. This involved the development of practical teaching materials on children’s rights, with a particular focus on school, special educational needs and out-of-school contexts. This phase was supported and guided by éducation21.
The revamped website brings together this expanded range of resources, updates them and further enhances their suitability for use in everyday educational practice.
